Thats right folks, Freekbass has some new Cincinnati funk to throw on you. The official release of Freekbass' new album "Junkyard Waltz" will be November 28, 2008 at the 20th Century Theater in Cincinnati, OH. The evening will be hosted by funk legend Bootsy Collins. Eclipse (2008 CEA nominee in Hip Hop category) will be opening the show.

"Grooveyard" Cd Review by Jimmy Rae (from Skope Magazine)

Freekbass plays that funky music and yes he is white, but it doesn’t matter. Funk seems to flow right out of Freekbass’ soul and flows smoothly like crystal, clear water to his bass guitar. Grooveyard is a new album by Freekbass, which was recorded live at 20th Century Theatre in Cincinnati, Ohio. The group consists of Freekbass on bass/vocals, Chip Wilson on drums/vocals and T-Sly on guitar/vocals.

This past Friday 9/5, Cincinnati's own Freekbass opened for Mike Gordon from Phish. Mike Gordon also had Freekbass up on stage to jam on a couple songs, Things That Make You Go Hmm > Meat.
