This track was created to bring the funk to Great American Ball Park, home of the Cincinnati Reds: originally included on the CD, "Clutch Hits" benefiting the Reds Community Fund. It was written by Freekbass to describe his passion for The Cincinnati Reds Baseball team. A music video for 'Reds Fan' filmed at the ball park, was produced and filmed by David Storm and Russ Jenisch.

Boot Camp Jamz, Cincinnati's only Rock Music Summer Day Camp, will join with Freekbass and Casual T (a.k.a. Tobotius) for the "Get Ready to Rock" tour - a fun, interactive music experience for young rock musicians (ages 17 and under). To be held Saturday, April 4, 2009 in three tri-state locations, this free concert and jam event will be the best warm-up for this summer's Boot Camp Jamz Rock Music Summer Day Camp. The tour kicks off in the morning at the Buddy Rogers store in North College Hill at 10 am, with stops at the Montgomery Buddy Rogers store at 1 pm, and the Beechmont store at 4 pm.
Victor Wooten is currently focusing on his solo repertoire while the Flecktones are off the road. Last weekend, the bassist performed at Cleveland’s House of Blues and invited local bassman Freekbass to the stage to jam during his set. Freekbass has performed with an impressive mix of musicians in recent years and his new most recent album Junkyard Waltz features the likes of Bernie Worrell, Buckethead, Mike Gordon, Jen Durkin and Mudbone. Next up, Freekbass will perform at Bloomington, IN’s Uncle Fester’s on April 11, while Wooten will appear at Greenville, SC’s The Handlebar tomorrow.

Skope Magazine review of 'Junkyard Waltz ' (by Jimmy Rae)
"...Executive produced by Bootsy Collins and produced by Tobe “Tobotius” Donohue & Freekbass, 'Junkyard Waltz' is an instant classic! Freekbass proves that he is one bad…. “shut your mouth!”…..I’m just talkin’ about Freekbass people. Freekbass and his trusty bass go hand in hand just like Superman and the “S” on his chest; they are one in the same. Freekbass also brings some different styles to the table like hip-hop elements along with darker layers. But, in the end the Funk bass extraordinaire always brings the funk and Junkyard Waltz is no different.."
